The story takes place in a remote mountain village. What happens there? One night, Azrael arrives in the village. His arrival is always an event… The Angel of Death takes one of the souls hardened by heat and frost. No matter how harsh the weather, it can never match the cruelty of human indifference — in the bitter cold when even the spade won’t pierce the ground, an old gardener digs a grave and buries a lonely body...
But the rules are as follows: if you stand out from the crowd, you will face trials. And the reward for an open trial always comes in secret... The old gardener will face the hardest test of his life — the test of his first, innocent love.
