“Alibaba and the Forty Thieves,” known to us from the fairy tales “A Thousand and One Nights,” occupies a strong place in the theater’s repertoire. The talented theater director Anar Mamedov is responsible for the production and structure of the performance, rich in instructive events. In a play where negative qualities such as the desire for wealth and fame are the object of criticism, young spectators are taught that honesty and spiritual wealth are more important.
